Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Community Platform uses browser storage (localStorage and sessionStorage) and, in limited cases, cookies, to keep you signed in and to make a few features work. We do not use advertising cookies. Our site analytics, Vercel Web Analytics, does not use cookies. This policy explains what we use and why.

These are required for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality:

Authentication: your sign-in session is kept in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in as you move between pages. Requests to protected areas, including the admin panel, are authenticated with that session.

Preview access: while the site is not yet open to the public, a cookie records that you were given preview access.

Cookie notice: local storage remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice.

Temporary feature state: an unfinished expert or creator profile draft is saved in local storage so it is not lost; an AI twin conversation is kept in session storage for the current browser tab; and session storage notes that a profile view was already counted in this tab.

We do not currently use functional cookies to remember non-essential preferences. If we add them, this policy will be updated.

Some features on the Platform load content from third-party services, which may set their own cookies or use browser storage:

Stripe: used for identity verification and payment processing. Stripe may set cookies as part of its fraud-prevention and checkout systems.

Jitsi Meet: used for voice and video session rooms. The room service may store its own data in your browser when you join.

WalletConnect (Reown) and Coinbase Wallet: if you choose to connect a wallet through them, they store connection data in your browser.

These third parties operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review directly.

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to block cookies entirely, though this may prevent core features of the Platform, including staying signed in and completing bookings or subscriptions, from working correctly. Clearing your browser's local storage will sign you out, bring back the cookie notice, and discard any unfinished profile draft.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to this signal, Community Platform does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track browser signals.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Platform's technology changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
