Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. Community Platform uses cookies and similar local storage technologies (such as browser localStorage) to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and understand how the Platform is used. This policy explains what we use and why.

These are required for the Platform to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality:

Authentication: keeps you signed in to your account as you navigate between pages.

Theme preference: remembers whether you've selected dark mode or light mode, stored in your browser's local storage under the key "cp-theme," so the site loads in your preferred appearance without a flash of the wrong theme.

Admin session: for admin panel access, a short-lived credential is used to authenticate requests to protected admin API routes.

Booking flow state: temporary state used during multi-step flows such as booking a session or subscribing to a Kindra tier, so your selections aren't lost as you move between steps.

We may use cookies to remember non-essential preferences, such as previously used search filters on the Experts or Creators directory, to make repeat visits more convenient. Disabling these does not break core functionality but may reset your preferences each visit.

Some features on the Platform load content from third-party services, which may set their own cookies:

Stripe: used for identity verification and payment processing. Stripe may set cookies as part of its fraud-prevention and checkout systems.

These third parties operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we encourage you to review directly.

Most browsers allow you to view, manage, and delete cookies through their settings. You can also set your browser to block cookies entirely, though this may prevent core features of the Platform, including staying signed in and completing bookings or subscriptions, from working correctly. Clearing your browser's local storage will reset your theme preference and any locally saved booking-flow state.

Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" signal. Because there is no common industry standard for how to respond to this signal, Community Platform does not currently alter its data collection practices in response to Do Not Track browser signals.

We may update this Cookie Policy as the Platform's technology changes. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated effective date.
